Superior Preparation. Extraordinary Results.

The Career Development Program is a six-step process in which students develop a strong commitment to the Career Development Program, assess their academic skills and environmental career interests, sharpen their job search skills, obtain professional experience, locate satisfying and rewarding employment, and move successfully into new career positions while maintaining strong professional ties to the Bren School through its Alumni Network.

At each of these six steps, students have access to services that will help them move successfully through the career development process and into rewarding environmental careers.

Six-Step Process:

Expectations (making a commitment to the career development process)
Assessment (finding out what you want to do and getting focused on your career goals)
Job Search Skills (preparing for your internship and job search)
Experience (developing practical skills and applying what you have learned in the classroom)
Employment (locating job opportunities and finding the right job for you)
Transition (making a successful transition into your new job)
