PhD Research - Patrick Hunnicutt

Patrick Hunnicutt is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management. His research interests focus on the political economy of natural resources and foreign aid, specifically pertaining to the drivers of effective development assistance and post-conflict reconstruction. In the past, Patrick has studied domestic water conservation and international hydropower development along transboundary rivers. Before attending Bren, Patrick worked as a research assistant for Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment during which he co-authored a paper analyzing the role of big data and data visualization in international environmental policy.
