PhD Research - Qian Gao

MS Environmental Science, Peking University

Qian Gao graduated from Peking University in Beijing, China in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and a Bachelor of Law in Intellectual Property. She continued her studies at Peking University during the next three years, and graduated in 2017 with a Master of Science in environmental science. Qian Gao has a special interest in improving water quality with nanotechnology. She has finished a project about reducing the concentration of various surfactants with engineered carbonaceous nanomaterials. Results of this project have been published in Water Research in 2016, with Qian Gao as first author. Qian Gao will continue her research about the application of nanotechnology in solving water pollution problems at the Bren School. She will be working in Professor Arturo Keller’s research group.
