PhD Research - Becky Wright

MS Conservation Policy, UC San Diego; BS Aquatic Biology, UC Santa Barbara

Generally, I study human-environmental interactions and work towards integrating social science into conservation design, implementation and evaluation. My dissertation work focuses on equity's role in conservation, and how community attributes influence the cooperative actions taken by individuals required for successful conservation. I also like to run, backpack in the Sierras, play volleyball, bake, travel, paint, read and enjoy the beach.
