Advanced Special Topics in Environmental Management: Planetary Health

Description

This course will introduce the multidisciplinary field of planetary health, which is concerned with the health of human civilization and the state of the natural systems on which it depends. The course will explore linkages and feedbacks between environmental degradation, global change and human health including infectious and non-infectious disease, diets and nutrition among other topics. Finally, the course will explore proposed solutions to jointly improve environmental and health outcomes.
