Bio
Sheena graduated from Boise State University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and minors in GIS and Climate Studies. While at Boise State, she worked as a wastewater intern at the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality, helping with various aspects of the Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. She also took part in a research internship at Boise State, where she used ArcGIS to visualize Greenland glacier dynamics. Sheena discovered her passion for environmental outreach during her undergraduate studies as she worked with peers to develop and host environmental outreach events at local elementary schools. Her recognition of the urgent need for climate solutions inspired her to continue her education at the Bren School.

While at Bren, Sheena plans to broaden her knowledge of environmental solutions by specializing in Energy and Climate with a focus in Communication. She is particularly interested in finding solutions to environmental pollution, improving management practices, and facilitating stakeholder engagement, especially in underrepresented communities. In her career, she hopes to leverage her interdisciplinary environmental knowledge to work collaboratively toward a more sustainable future.
