Stacy Rebich Hespanha

Bio

Dr. Stacy Rebich Hespanha received her BS in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania, and her MA and PhD in Geography with an Emphasis in Cognitive Science from the University of California Santa Barbara. Her research expertise spans areas from behavioral and cognitive science, environmental communication, visual communication and design, computational text analysis, and diversity in team science. She has recently embarked on work toward greater environmental and social justice in the food industry through entrepreneurial projects focused on local food system innovation and integration. Stacy has been teaching Data Visualization for Environmental Science at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management since 2016.
