Something About Me

Elizabeth is a first generation, rising third-year, Statistics and Data Science major at UC Santa Barbara. She is interested in making an impact through the utilization of data analysis techniques and strategies. More specifically her career interests consist of environmental applications of data science. Currently she is working with PhD student, Michelle Mohr, on a Dendrochronological Analysis of Sugar Pine project where she utilizes tree-ring analysis methods and data software to better understand how disturbance agents one being white pine blister rust (WPBR), a non-native pathogen, interact to impact tree mortality to develop an informed forest management strategy
