2025 Bren Commencement Celebration
Congratulations to the Class of 2025! The Bren School invites you to join us for a celebration of our graduates on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 9:00am Pacific Time. The celebration will be held in the Bren Hall Michael J. Connell Memorial Courtyard, followed by a reception on the lawn. The program will also be streamed live online.

Keynote Speaker: Lynn Scarlett, Former Deputy Secretary, US Department of the Interior
Lynn is the former Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Department of the Interior and former Chief External Affairs Officer at The Nature Conservancy. She serves on the Advisory Council of the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis, is Vice Chair of the National Wildlife Refuge Association, and serves on the Board of the Santa Barbara Foundation. She chaired the Science Advisory Board of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for six years and served on the Board of Advisors of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. She received her MA in political science from UC Santa Barbara, where she also completed her PhD coursework and exams in political science. She is currently chair of the Bren School's Dean's Council.
