Bio
Allison Larko graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Sustainable Environmental Design and a minor in Landscape Architecture. Prior to her time at Cal, Allison followed her lifelong passion for the sport of waterpolo by coaching at the youth and high school levels, fostering leadership skills for young women.
While attending Berkeley, Allison took her career to the next level. She coached the Cal Varsity women's team, which finished as national runner-up in 2024. Academically, Allison collaborated on numerous sustainability projects, including life cycle assessments, sustainable infrastructure proposals, and material flow and geospatial analyses. The project that excited her most was consulting for Harvest Moon Fine Foods, a meal delivery startup, developing a sustainability plan for the business and analyzing product packaging options. This project sparked her interest in corporate sustainability, leading her to specialize in business and sustainability with a focus in environmental communication at Bren. Allison will pursue a career in corporate sustainability to develop leading edge solutions which balance corporate and community stakeholder interests to protect the environment.
