Bio
Amanda Asquith-Caya (she.her.hers) serves as the Director of Career Development and Program Services as the Bren School. She has been a specialist and leader in the field of higher education for over eight years, having worked in career development, employer relations, alumni engagement and academic advising. She spent five years as the Internship and Experience Manager at UCSB Career Services, where she counseled students, led experiential-based programs, and partnered with employers to expand internship opportunities. Amanda has also worked at UC Berkeley, CSU Channel Islands and most recently as the Assistant Director, Employer Engagement at CSU Long Beach’s Career Development Center. She graduated with honors from UCLA where she received her B.A. in History, and then went on to receive a M.A. in History from Boston College and a M.S. in Counselor Education from California Lutheran University. Amanda is committed to serving as a strategic thinker and problem solver to enhance positive career outcomes for students from all backgrounds and identities through proactive partnerships and outreach.
