Bio
As an environmental scientist, Connor strives to constantly learn from and serve Hawaiʻi with his work. In May of 2021, he graduated with Bachelor’s Degrees in Environmental Science & Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu. The values of environmental stewardship and responsibility perpetuated at Chaminade University along with Connor’s respect and love for the natural environment inspired him to pursue a career in environmental data science. As a student, he worked closely with Malama Maunalua regarding the ecosystem health of Maunalua Bay, Oahu and Aloha Harvest regarding the data management of their food rescue and distribution operations. He finished his education at Chaminade as a data science research assistant in the Department of Strategy & Innovation focusing on food sovereignty and security in Hawaiʻi. Currently, he is passionate about equity in climate tech solutions and sustainable food systems, and hopes to contribute to these efforts throughout his career.
