Role at Bren: Daisy provides overall career development and alumni relations support specifically assisting in coordinating career and alumni services and events, providing career advising and document review, and overseeing job and internship postings. She also manages the Summer Internship Fellowship (SIF) program and administrative Salesforce support for users and placement statistics.

Professional Background:

Daisy started as the Career Development and Alumni Relations Coordinator in July 2023. Daisy has gained over 10 years of experience outside of the university in the legal field, working in administration management, project implementation, and analytical support.

Prior to joining the Career Development team, Daisy was the Executive Assistant to the Deans at the Gervitz School of Education and was responsible for managing multiple projects and administrative coordination between different departments. Her experience working within a graduate school and processing graduate student travel grants will translate well to the administration of Bren's Summer Internship Funding process. With a degree in History from Cal Poly SLO, Daisy brings expertise in and passion for supporting students’ career development and lifelong success.

Education: BA in History from California State University, San Luis Obispo

Favorite Aspect of Bren/Why You Work At Bren: At Bren, the staff is not just welcoming, but deeply committed to the holistic learning of students. This community really cares about what and how students are learning and always looking for new ways to better prepare students for life after Bren.

Personal Interests: I find immense joy in immersing myself in the great outdoors, seeking out the wonders of state and national parks that await exploration. I’ve been blessed to have traveled to 17 countries; having traversed through those countries, my journeys have revealed to me the profound value of immersing oneself in diverse cultures. As the weekend comes around, you will likely spot me on the kickball field, relishing the energy of the game. And, of course, my faithful companion, Zoe, a spirited German Shepherd, who joins me on adventures to Elings Park and Arroyo Burro Beach, where we embrace the beauty of nature together.
