Bio
Georgia graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) with her Bachelor of the Arts in Environmental Studies and Dance and a minor in Spatial Science. She explored her aquatic and terrestrial interests as a student researcher for the Riparian Invasion Research Lab and the Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans, where she tracked changes in riparian vegetation and watershed topography and sampled subtidal invertebrate populations. Following graduation, she worked as an Analyst for the Goleta Water District contributing to GIS-based asset management and optimization studies for groundwater replenishment. Her passion for ecosystem restoration and nature-based climate solutions has led her to pursue her Master’s at the Bren School. Georgia aspires to connect ecological principles, spatial data analysis, and environmental justice to contribute to holistic climate solutions.
