As the Academic Programs Manager for the Bren School, Sean is responsible for all aspects of academic programs, curriculum planning, Master’s Projects, academic requirements, and generating various programmatic initiatives. He works closely with the Assistant Dean for Academic Programs, as well as faculty and staff, in order to ensure educational effectiveness and program competitiveness.
Prior to working at the Bren School, Sean served as Student Advisor for the Office of Summer Sessions at UC Santa Barbara. In this position, Sean gained valuable experience in advising, admissions, course registration, and program assessment for the various pre-college and special undergraduate programs. Sean also worked as a Student Advisor and Assistant Football Coach at Santa Barbara City College before beginning his career at UCSB.
Sean received his BA in Psychology from San Diego State University and his MS in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach. Sean is a Santa Barbara native and avid football fan. When not at work, you can often find Sean cheering for the Atlanta Falcons or spending time at home with his wife, daughter, dogs, cat, and chickens.
