Something About Me

Originally from Stockton, California, I am currently in my third year of pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Studies at UCSB with a planned concentration in Food, Agriculture, and the Environment. My main academic interests are sustainable agriculture and development. Over the past two summers I interned with Simplot Grower Solutions as a Field Technician and Key Accounts Intern, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning the role of a crop consultant. This summer, aside from taking courses and working at a campus cafe, I am interning as a researcher for the UCSB undergraduate podcast “Environment of it All” where I research various environmental topics for topics of discussion. Here we interview UCSB graduate and PhD students about their recent or upcoming research or interests to showcase the research being done on our campus and make it more accessible and understandable to a broader audience. The podcast covers a wide range of environmental topics including wildfires, whale conservation, and ecotourism.
