Bio
Anna Pede is a Ph.D. student pursuing the Economics and Environmental Science (EES) emphasis. She holds a Master of Science and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. As an undergraduate, she researched the impacts of agrarian reform and settlement projects in Brazil. In her Master's, she investigated the land-use implications of Amazon's Soy Moratorium using remote sensing data. Anna's research interests lie in the interactions between environmental policies and land-use decisions, specifically on land markets in the Brazilian Amazon region.
