Bio
Annie Lovell graduated from Bucknell University (2008) with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Psychology. She began her career working as an environmental consultant specializing in natural resource management and environmental compliance in Hawaii. Annie also worked as an international cycling and hiking guide, designing and leading trips across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean. Through her professional experience, as well as her volunteer work and personal travel explorations, Annie has been involved with a variety of projects focused on marine conservation, watershed management, and sustainable tourism development. At the Bren School, Annie is specializing in Coastal Marine Resource Management and Corporate Environmental Management with a focus on Eco-Entrepreneurship and Strategic Communications. Annie is particularly interested in engaging communities to adopt innovative solutions to protect coastal resources. Annie is an ocean enthusiast - in her free time you can find her surfing, swimming, diving, outrigger canoe paddling, and exploring the places she is working to protect.
