Annie Lovell

Bio
Annie Lovell graduated from Bucknell University in 2008 with a degree in Environmental Studies and Psychology. As an environmental scientist, Annie has experience in natural resource management, sustainability practices and business development for both the private and non-profit sector. She began her career as an environmental consultant focusing primarily on wholistic watershed management, environmental compliance and community outreach in Hawaiʻi.  In her free time, she has worked on a variety of international development projects involving marine conservation, education and sustainable tourism development. Working as an international cycling and hiking guide, she has designed and led trips in 25 countries across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean.  Annie is particularly interested in protecting natural resources in coastal communities through innovative, sustainable and responsible business initiatives.  At the Bren School she is specializing in Coastal Marine Resource Management and Corporate Environmental Management with a focus in Eco-Entrepreneurship.  When she is not working or studying, you can find Annie in the water –surfing, swimming, diving, outrigger canoe paddling or brainstorming creative business ideas that will protect our oceans and coastlines.
