Something About Me

Originally from San Jose, California, I am a fourth-year Environmental Studies student at UCSB. I am hoping to pursue a career in Environmental Health and Safety as it combines both my love for the environment and my passion for helping people. I am particularly interested in policy related to business because during the summers I worked as a paid Environmental Health and Safety Intern for an electronics manufacturing company called Jabil. During my time in this position, I worked closely with management to ensure that OSHA standards and environmental standards were met in the facility. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, surfing, and anything that gets me outside. In the future, I hope to explore opportunities that expand my knowledge on environmental legislation.
