Bio
Carolina concentrates on understanding the trends of mass deforestation and ecosystem collapse, primarily driven by agricultural and industrial expansion on land and sea. Specializing in conservation planning, she explores how the destruction of wild habitats contributes to species extinction and climate instability, hoping to implement rehabilitative strategies. Carolina originally embarked on a different path joining a private wealth management group at Morgan Stanley after graduating Boston College in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She played an integral role in complex financial planning for ultra-high net worth families, but through exposure to green investments found inspiration to dedicate her career to solving climate issues.

Her research into alternative growing systems using significantly less resources than conventional field farms revealed the detriment that many agricultural practices have on Earth's biodiverse ecosystems and motivated a drastic career change. Carolina now hopes to develop innovative solutions to mitigate the destruction to Earth's vegetation and protect terrestrial and marine wildlife and ecosystems.
