Bio 
Casey Walker is an environmental problem solver interested in tackling society’s drought and water quality issues. He graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2019 with a B.S. in Environmental Science & Management with a concentration in Watershed Science and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). During that time, he conducted international research on marine filter feeders and their capacity to restore coral reef habitats at the University of Queensland in Australia. Casey worked as an Environmental Scientist designing and implementing cost-effective, individual, and regional Aquatic Pesticide Application Plans (APAPs). He managed over fifty accounts throughout California in the irrigation, winery, agricultural, golf course, manufacturing, and construction sectors. He collaborated with and reported to the Regional Water Quality Control Boards, State Water Resources Control Board, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife. At Bren, he aims to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of environmental change-makers to conserve and manage water resources. He strives to be a levelheaded leader and environmental steward in the face of water instability and climate change.
