Charles O'Connor IV

Bio
Charles O'Connor IV graduated from California State University Channel Islands in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management and minors in History and Mathematics. Charles has a lifetime of service to his community from his experience as a member of the Boy Scouts of America, participating in various beach cleanups across Ventura County, and membership in the Audubon Society and Sierra Club. Continuing on from his internship with the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology at the Cienega Springs Ecological Reserve, Charles seeks to expand the field of wildlife protection and recovery in Southern California through policy work in the government. He intends to specialize in Environmental Policy with a focus in communication during his studies at Bren School. A major career goal of his is to establish a federal program encouraging underserved youths to participate in their environment through subsidizing transportation to and from their local national parks.
