Water Policy Lecturer
Cora Snyder is a Senior Researcher at the Pacific Institute, where she works on corporate water stewardship, integrated water management, California water policy, global water governance, and more. In particular, much of her work supports the UN Global Compact CEO Water Mandate and the California Water Action Collaborative. Her interests are centered on creative solutions that balance the social, environmental, and economic dimensions of water.
Cora’s past work has focused on environmental water markets, water law and policy, and behavioral science techniques to encourage residential water conservation. Cora holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). She also holds a Master of Environmental Science and Management (MESM) from the Bren School at UCSB, where she was a Sustainable Water Markets Fellow.
