Bio
Erin Clem graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Geography and Environmental Studies. Upon graduation, she began working at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center, a rescue, rehabilitation, and release hospital for pinnipeds in Southern California. Erin served as an educator, conducted lectures, and engaged in hands-on activities covering marine science, pollution mediation, and watershed management with visiting groups. She also represented PMMC at community based events to educate the public about marine issues and foster a sense of environmental stewardship. Additionally, Erin served as an intern for Interior Logic Group, a Blackstone portfolio company, and collaborated on an Environmental, Social, and Governance project contributing to the framework of the organization’s sustainability efforts and ESG strategic goals. This project culminated with a presentation to the company’s executive leadership team members. By integrating Corporate Environmental Management with a focus in Communication at Bren, Erin aspires to push the private sector towards a future of enhanced sustainability and conservation efforts.
