Bio
Hannah Vaughn-Hulbert graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate career, Hannah found her passion for water policy and innovative water management practices. On campus, she studied the environmental and social impacts on California’s water systems and its influence on the state’s policy making process. Throughout her coursework, Hannah focused on promoting groundwater recharge and water reuse projects to combat the challenges of water scarcity among urban and agricultural communities. Hannah is currently attending the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management where she will specialize in Water Resources Management. Hannah aims to center her career around promoting equitable and resilient water management solutions through holistic approaches. She looks forward to working closely with California water agencies to implement onsite water reuse systems and advanced water quality monitoring programs in hopes to make safe and reliable water sources accessible to all.
