Jaxon graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics. He went on to work in the Energy Systems Division at Argonne National Laboratory studying the potential impact of biofuels in the Marine Shipping Center, using life cycle assessment to model environmental impacts at a sectoral level. Generally, Jaxon is interested in the process-modeling of renewable technologies and the potential for models to give policymakers insights into how an effective transition to renewable energy can occur. Here at Bren, his work will focus on technologies that can transition the industrial sector away from fossil fuels and towards more sustainable processes.
