Kelly Perymon graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2022 with a Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Science and Policy alongside a Minor in Global Sustainability. During her undergraduate career, Perymon served for two years in the University of California (UC) Carbon Neutrality Initiative fellowship, both as a Climate Action Fellow and an Undergraduate Student Representative Fellow. As an undergraduate researcher, Kelly worked on a project with the Human Systems Lab of the Earth Systems Science department of UCI, focusing on energy consumption related to air conditioning use, with a local equity analysis. She also previously worked full time at the US Green Building Council as a Global Market Development intern, where she found a passion for sustainable business and market development in the green building sector. She hopes to learn more about sustainable building at the intersections of equity, the climate crisis, and business while undergoing the Corporate Environmental Management specialization at Bren.
