Bren-Environmental Studies Fellow 2024-2025
Something About Me
I am originally from Agoura Hills, California and a recent community college transfer student. I am a 4th year Environmental Studies student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts as well as an emphasis in human-environmental relations. My primary interests revolve around how environmental issues affect human health and well-being, particularly in areas such as air quality and toxicology. I aspire to pursue a career in public health and environmental health
sciences, driven by my passion for ensuring a healthy environment for the wellbeing of the planet and the people inhabiting it. Previously, I have volunteered with an organization called
TreePeople. Their primary goals are spreading knowledge and tending to the native biodiversity in Chesebro Canyon. I gained experience with them learning about the implementation of
restoration strategies following the effects of the Woolsey Fire, which largely affected my hometown and its local ecology. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, yoga, exploring local museums, and spending time at Santa Barbara’s beaches!
