Bio
Madison Kilkenny graduated magna cum laude from Washington State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Science and a minor is Geospatial Analysis (GIS). During her undergraduate career, she was a research assistant for a LiDAR riverine ecology lab and a geophysics lab relating to endangered species. Additionally, Madison was a Wilderness Ranger Fellow in the Bitterroot Wilderness in Montana partnered with the USFS, where she exercised land conservation practices. Most notably, she was awarded the 2022 WSU School of Environment Outstanding Senior Award, attributed to her academic performance and service to the University community.
Upon graduation, Madison interned at the Washington State Department of Transportation environmental sector and pursued her passion for the outdoors as a ski instructor and dockhand on Lake Tahoe. She aims to blend her field-based and office-based experiences, as well as her interest using technical programs related to the environment, to equip a lifelong career in corporate sustainability. Specializing in Business and the Environment at the Bren School, Madison plans to establish regenerative systems in a corporate setting, specific to sustainable apparel and outdoor recreation.
