Bio
Michelle Moreno completed her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2022. During her internship as a data analyst at Coal Oil Point Reserve (COPR), she developed a passion for marine conservation and recognized the importance of effective communication between organizations and the public. This experience inspired her to pursue further studies at Bren, focusing on the intersection of data analysis, environmental policy, and scientific research. Michelle is specializing in Conservation Planning with a Science Communication focus to prepare for a range of career options, including roles as a data analyst or research scientist. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys morning strolls on the beach, playing tennis, and participating in local 5K races.
