Something About Me

Hey! My name is Miriam and I am a 3rd year ES major hailing from Oakland, Ca! In my free time, I love taking in landscape sceneries and architecture. Some of my previous bench research has involved detecting cellulase within random backyard plants and converting it into cellulose as a means for renewable energy. I believe in integrating nature within solutions to reduce reliance on toxins. As a result, my focus in ES is on sustainability and its connection within architecture and biomimicry- and to an extent Environmental Consulting. What helps ground me is improving my nail art, reading, and bingeing K-dramas and dystopian shows.
