Bio
Nadav Kempinski's lived and academic experiences focus on systems thinking and how we can engineer sustainable solutions. He graduated with Dean's Honors from UC Santa Barbara's Engineering Department in 2021 in his self-designed major (""Human-Centered Engineering"").

After graduating, Nadav served as a fellow for Venture for America, working as a Product Manager in the health-tech sector. Yet his passion was in environmental stewardship. He volunteered on a regenerative farm to demonstrate climate-positive farming practices to industrial farmers. Recognizing gaps in his environmental education, he facilitated environmental education trips for 5th-12th grade students throughout California to improve outdoor access and knowledge for underrepresented students. He continues to serve on the boards for the farm and the San Diego Mycological Society.

At Bren, Nadav specializes in Pollution Prevention and Remediation, aiming to develop low-cost, eco-friendly remediation practices for brownfield sites in underrepresented communities. He is committed to advancing equity in outdoor access and environmental health.
