Bio
Narjes Mathlouthi (She/her) is originally from Tunisia in North Africa. Narjes pursued a BS in Environmental Economics & Policy at the University of California Berkeley. During her undergraduate career, Narjes worked on research projects related to water management and recycling in California. After graduating, Narjes joined a non-profit organization focused on empowering grassroot women’s movements around the world. Narjes' portfolios ranged from climate justice to freedom from violence. Narjes aims to combine her passion for the environment, advocacy, data analysis and problem solving to help mitigate climate change issues. She’s interested in applying innovative technology, with environmental science to investigate solutions related to food insecurity and water scarcity in developing countries. At the Bren School, she is pursuing a specialization in Water Resource Management and Energy and Climate.
