MESM 2026

Bio
Pablo Van Dyck graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2024 with a Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Studies. Over the summer between his second and third years at UCSB, he worked as a student worker doing restoration work on the North Campus Open Space project for the Cheadle Center for Biological and Ecological Restoration. In the summer following his junior year, he participated in the Coastal Media Project, an intensive 15 week summer environmental filmmaking program. This sparked his enrolling in research and independent study units to work on a second environmental documentary during his senior year. Additionally he is proficient in GIS. At Bren, he hopes to complete the business and sustainability specialization as well as the strategic environmental communications area of interest. This will hopefully lead to opportunities in the field of environmental consulting or filmmaking.
