Bio
Ryan Anderson graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2022 with a dual Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. With a commitment to making a positive impact, he intentionally shifted his career path away from the tech industry in pursuit of a more environmentally focused direction. Ryan’s journey is informed by diverse experiences, including qualitative research on social issues within a university lab, teaching English essay writing to non-native speakers, and developing software for underwater robotics projects funded by NSF. These experiences have honed his interdisciplinary problem-solving skills and equipped him with a unique perspective. Passionate about the ocean, Ryan wishes to specialize in coastal and marine resource management and explore innovative ways for humanity and nature to coexist harmoniously.
