Bio
Upon graduating Scott continued to explore areas of curiosity, with his passion for environmental science being reinvigorated by many of the energy components of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Scott aspires to explore similar elements of industrial policy that will expand the production of renewable energy. Consequently, Scott is pursuing his Master's in Environmental Science and Management to develop policy that further prioritizes renewable energy production, while incentivizing decarbonization efforts. At Bren, he intends to specialize in Energy and Climate with an emphasis in Strategic Communications. With these specializations, Scott plans to research cap and trade systems that will encourage a rapid decarbonization of the private sector.

Scott graduated from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in 2020 where he completed his Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology. He aims to leverage the communication skills gained from his experience as a crisis counselor and autism behavioral therapist to enhance his policy communication efforts. By effectively designing and conveying policy initiatives, he aspires to create meaningful, long-term benefits for underserved communities.
