Bio
Wen-Tien is a PhD student focusing on energy transition and air quality domains. Prior to UCSB he worked on a variety of energy-related research projects at Uppsala University in Sweden, National Cheng Kung University and Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan. His diverse research experiences provided him with fundamental skills to conduct computer based and interdisciplinary studies. Wen-Tien’s goal is to use geospatial tools and model simulations to help countries find feasible solutions to phase out fossil fuel based energy supply systems. Wen-Tien graduated from China Medical University (Taiwan) with a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and went on to earn a masters degree in Sustainable development from Uppsala University. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, running, and playing board games.
