EVELYN BERMUDEZ

Bren-Environmental Studies Fellow 2022-2024

Something About Me

I am a fourth year BA student double-majoring in Economics and Environmental Studies. I studied abroad this summer at the UC Center in Madrid, Spain for their Python and Data Science program. There, I was able to explore different techniques used in data science on Python to analyze a local startup's data collected on Google Analytics and develop strategies to increase their website's traffic. I am excited to learn how I can further apply these techniques to environmental and economic problems.

In addition to being a part of the Bren Environmental Studies Fellows Program, I serve as the Event Chair for the Undergraduate Economics Association. I will also be working in Professor Samantha Stevenson's Climate DataLab investigating different climate model learning resources with the goal of developing a learning module to facilitate the application of climate models to a variety of projects.

During my free time, I enjoy running and watercoloring.
