This project is examining equity of the Urban Forest Management Plan in Tacoma, WA, assessing trees' impacts on urban sustainability and the city’s ability to maximize socio-economic and environmental benefits while minimizing harm post-intervention.

Working with the Defenders of Wildlife, this project aims to ensure that the proper balance is achieved, with smart planning for renewable power that avoids and minimizes adverse impacts to wildlife and lands with known high-resource values (agriculture).
