Something About Me

I am a fifth-year student majoring in Environmental Studies with a Minor in History, two different fields of study that have jointly re-enforced my own commitment to using the law to pursue the goals of environmental justice. Over the past year at UCSB, I have engaged in a variety of projects that would allow me to strengthen my understanding of these disciplines. To that end, I have conducted an independent qualitative research project where I analyzed the homelessness crisis in Santa Barbara by documenting and exploring the personal narratives of unhoused individuals. Additionally, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Environmental Studies department under David Pellow for the course “Animals in Human Societies: Inequality, Conflict, and Social Justice.”  After I graduate in June 2025, my goal is to further my education by pursuing a master’s degree in Public Policy or Environmental Law, leveraging my background in environmental justice, science, and law in order to drive meaningful change in every community with which I engage.
