Something About Me
(She/Her/Hers)
Originally from Encinitas, California, I am a Fourth-year Environmental Studies BA student with an outside concentration in Law & Policy. Growing up near the ocean sparked my interest in the environment and conservation. I am planning on pursuing a career in Environmental law as that combines both of my passions: Law & Policy and the environment. This summer, I have worked as a wildfire policy intern for the 2035 initiative, conducting research and writing policy materials. In the spring, I served as a legislative intern for Assembly member Gregg Hart’s district office. Through my internships, I have gained a deep understanding of the behind-the-scenes of environmental policy. I hope in the future to explore
more internship opportunities that further expand my knowledge. In addition to career experience, I serve as VP of Gauchos Go Green and help facilitate weekly beach cleanups in the Isla Vista area. In my freetime I like to read, go to the beach, and create new recipes. Upon graduation, I plan to take a gap year and apply to graduate school.
