Fishing for change: a bioeconomic analysis comparing policy scenarios to manage distant water fishing in Liberia

Liberia's waters face overfishing from foreign fleets, harming local ecosystems and fishers despite government profits. This project explores how limiting trawling could impact fish stocks and income, helping policymakers balance ecological and economic needs.

This project will compare Nada Grocery’s carbon emissions and plastic waste production under a business as usual scenario to a variety of probable scenarios that could happen as a result of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

The objective of this project was to determine the cost-effectiveness and implementation feasibility of GHG mitigation strategies in Santa Barbara County.
